Mike Hrubvovcak (Vile, Monstrosity, Azure Emote) influenciado por el Industrial Metal

El vocalista de las bandas americanas Vile y Monstrosity: Mike Hrubvovcak, nos comento en nuestra mas reciente entrevista para Arsenal Del Metalero sobre como fue influenciado por el Metal Industrial, y conformo una banda que mezclo su gusto por el Death Metal y lo experimental con lo industrial, banda cuyo nombre es: Azure Emote, banda que comparte actualmente con el baterista de Fear Factory: Mike Heller. 
Arsenal Del Metalero: Volviendo a hablar de Azure Emote, además de la banda es una combinación de Death Metal con metal industrial, pero en América del Sur, por ejemplo, los fans odian este tipo de combinaciones, algunos fans latinos de metal no ven con buenos ojos al metal industrial, pero ¿cómo te influyo el metal industrial?
Mike: Es cierto! Soy muy consciente de esto (risas). Supongo que es más para los europeos. Incluso en Estados Unidos no es tan popular. El goregrind es más popular aquí. Siempre me ha gustado el metal europeo y aunque bandas como Arcturus, Tristania, Therion, Covenant / The Kovenant, Morgul, Lux Oculta, Samael, Red Harvest, etc vienen de un puro y sencillo Death Metal, supongo que un poco las cosas europeas me influyerón un poco. Me introduje con la The Thrill Kill Kult, The Electric Hellfire Club, Dead Can Dance y Laibach cuando era más joven también, y siempre me encantó cada álbum de Laibach que fue completamente diferente. Pensé en lo maravilloso que puede ser eso, y aún así cada estilo totalmente oscuro y asesino. También a principios de los 90 bandas escuchando bandas como Napalm Death y Obituary hicieron "Meathook Seed - Embedded" y bandas como esa, me parecieron súper creativas. Todo el mundo tenía un álbum "experimental" en ese momento, al igual que de Malevolent Creation "Joe Black" y muchos otros. Escucho Death Metal el 90% del tiempo, pero también me gustan otras cosas (siempre es de noche), así que ¿por qué no tirar de influencias de todo lo que me gusta. Quiero decir que he estado allí, he hecho eso, con el Death Metal y el Black Metal (ICE), así que pensé, mierda, voy a hacer mi propio proyecto loco también. Todo el mundo necesita un descanso cuando usted ha estado haciendo lo mismo durante años y años ... me refiero a mirar a Lee de Monstrosity, que está haciendo su banda: Lavoizen, y si miras a tu alrededor por lo general cada miembro del grupo tiene proyectos personales o estilo diferentes que va a continuación, en lo que normalmente están acostumbrados. Viene con lo de ser un artista y sentir la necesidad de estar constantemente creativo.

Mike: True! I am well aware of this haha. I guess it's more of a european thing. Even in america it's not that popular. Goregrind is more popular here. I've always loved european metal though and bands like Arcturus, Tristania, Therion, Covenant / The Kovenant, Morgul, Lux Occulta, Samael, Red Harvest etc. so coming from a pure straight forward american Death Metal background, i guess that european kinda stuff influenced me a bit. I got introduced to The Thrill Kill Kult, The Electric Hellfire Club, Dead Can Dance and Laibach when i was younger too, and always loved how every Laibach album was completely different. I thought how awesome that they can do that, and still make each style totally dark and killer. Also in the early 90's hearing bands like Napalm and Obituary make "MeatHook Seed - Embedded" and bands like that, I thought was super creative. Everyone had an "experimental" album at that time, like Malevolent Creation's "Joe Black" and countless others. I listen to Death Metal 90% of the time, but i also like other stuff (as long as it's dark), so why not pull influences from everything that i like. I mean i've been there, done that, with straight forward Death and Black metal (I.C.E.), so I thought, fuck it, i'm gonna do my own crazy project too. Everyone needs a break when you've been doing the same thing for years and years...I mean look at Lee from Monstrosity, he's doing his Lavoizen band, and if you look around usually every band member has personal or different style projects going on then what they're normally used to. It comes with the territory of being an artist and feeling the need to constantly be creative.
